Heritage Harbour
This is an adult community 55 and better. This is where I would want my parents if my parents had the good sense to live in Maryland. This community is enormous, yet has differing neighborhoods within a neighborhood making it feel quaint. It is clean beyond belief and as far as amenities go, no community in Annapolis can beat what Heritage Harbour has. I am just sad that I can't join in the fun quite yet. Okay...tennis, golf, swimming indoor and out, aerobics, a library, club houses and anything else you can think of. For those seniors who don't like to drive, there are plenty of vans heading to the mall and various trips. However, mostly this is an active community of seniors. Prices range from a one bedroom, one bath condo at 250k to single family homes in the mid 500k. There is a one time $2,000 welcome to the neighborhood recreation fee for all new residents. The HOA monthly fee is around $120.  If you are wondering whether your parents would be happy in this community, think no more.
