Martins Cove is a small neighborhood of slightly more than 50 homes located close to the Naval Academy bridge right off of St. Margarets Rd. The lots are usually large, more than an acre and the architecture varies from very Traditional to Cape Cods and an occasional Contemporary. While showing a home several years ago in this neighborhood I saw on a lawn, 3 tacky deer. I commented to my buyers, something like, "my, in a lovely neighborhood like this that they allow these tacky deer on the front lawns-hummmmf." Just as I began to drive off, one of the "tacky deer" moved, then the next, and the third! The fact that I couldn't tell the plastic from the real thing...Priceless! We all had a great laugh and I smile every time I pass this neighborhood.
